Bronx, N.Y. – Hosting a pair of non-conference opponents Saturday afternoon, Fordham University Softball takes on Quinnipiac at 12:00 p.m. and UAlbany at 2:30 p.m.

Fordham (16-20, 6-7) on a bye from A-10 play this week, split a doubleheader with Manhattan on Wednesday, winning game two 5-2 after a 3-0 loss in game one. The Rams are amidst a five-game stretch against non-conference opponents, as they'll head to Stony Brook for a single game Wednesday following the weekend twin-bill.

Quinnipiac (17-13, 13-6 MAAC) took two out of three from Manhattan in their conference series last weekend, before dropping Tuesday's doubleheader at Fairfield, 5-2 and 6-4. UAlbany (16-14, 4-5 America East) split with Siena in a doubleheader last time out Wednesday, winning 5-3 in eight innings on the road in game one, after dropping two of three at Binghamton last weekend.

The Rams are 6-0 all-time against Quinnipiac, facing the Bobcats for the first time since 2010, a 6-1 win on neutral ground in Newport News, Va. while Saturday will mark the first ever meeting between Fordham and UAlbany on the Softball diamond.

Notes

Fordham as a team are second in the Atlantic 10 with 18 double plays turned on the year, 28th in the nation, while averaging 0.50 double plays per game, 21st best in Division I.

Defensively the Rams lead the league and sit 40th in the country with a .973 fielding percentage on the year.

The Fordham offense leads the league with 268 hits as a team, with six different Rams posting at least 25 hits individually.

Olivia Simcoe has registered eight complete games for the Rams, which leads the A-10 and places her 79th amongst all Division I pitchers for complete games in 2026. Elizabeth Gaisior is sixth in the conference with five complete games as well.

Simcoe is second in the A-10 with a 1.10 WHIP as well, tossing the third most innings of any conference pitcher with 89.2 this season, and has tallied the second most starts in the league with 16 thus far.

Kate McGuire is second amongst all hitters in the A-10 at nabbing two bases, posting 11 doubles on the year.

Neleh Nogay is second in the A-10 and 20th in the nation with 22 stolen bases on the year, while ranked 17th nationally with 0.61 stolen bases per game.

Nogay holds the Fordham record for career stolen bases after breaking the previous mark of 85 earlier this season. She became just the sixth active player in all of Division I softball with 100 career steals, reaching triple digits against Army on Mar. 25.
