Fairfax, Va. – Opening the 27-game Atlantic 10 Conference portion of the calendar this weekend, Fordham University Softball heads to Virginia for a three-game series at George Mason Saturday and Sunday.
The Rams and Patriots will play a doubleheader Saturday at Noon before completing the series with a single game at 12:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon. All games will air on ESPN+
Opening the year with three weekend tournaments over the first month of the campaign, Fordham (5-9) collected a pair of wins last time out in Miami over South Dakota and Harvard. George Mason (6-9) is coming off a 3-1 win over Georgetown on Wednesday, snapping a six game losing streak.

Fordham as a team leads the Atlantic 10 with nine double plays turned on the year, 32nd in the nation, while averaging 0.64 double plays per game, 10th best in Division I.
Defensively the Rams are also the best in the league and 22nd in the country with a .979 fielding percentage, committing just eight errors on the year.
Olivia Simcoe has registered five complete games for the Rams, which leads the A-10 and places her 21st amongst all Division I pitchers for complete games in 2026.
With 10 stolen bases on the year, Neleh Nogay is second in the A-10 and 40th in the nation, while ranked 18th nationally with 0.71 stolen bases per game.
Averaging less than one walk per seven innings, Holly Beeman leads the conference and sits 19th in the country allowing just three walks across 24.1 innings pitched this season.
