Bronx, N.Y. – Returning home to the friendly confines of Bahoshy Field, Fordham University Softball hosts Army in a doubleheader Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. on ESPN+.
Fordham (10-15, 4-5) took the first two games in a three game series at St. Bonaventure, winning 4-1 and 12-3 in Saturday's doubleheader, which helped to earn Head Coach Melissa Inouye the 300th victory of her coaching career. Army (11-16) is coming off of a doubleheader against Rider Saturday, falling 9-6 in both games.
Wednesday's doubleheader will complete a three-game series this season between the Rams and Black Knights, which began with a single game two weeks ago on Mar. 11, a 3-2 Fordham win in West Point. All time the Maroon and White hold an 8-3 record over Army, winning seven of the last 10 meetings.
Notes
Stealing five bases across the three games last weekend, Neleh Nogay is second in the A-10 and 34th in the nation with 16 stolen bases on the year, while ranked 23rd nationally with 0.64 stolen bases per game.
Nogay holds the Fordham record for career stolen bases after breaking the previous mark of 85 earlier this season. With 99 career steals entering Wednesday, Nogay's next stolen base would make her just the sixth active player in Division I with 100 or more steals, and just the 18th active player at all three levels of NCAA Softball.
Fordham as a team are second in the Atlantic 10 with 10 double plays turned on the year, 91st in the nation, while averaging 0.40 double plays per game, 69th best in Division I.
Defensively the Rams are second in the league and 28th in the country with a .975 fielding percentage, committing just 15 errors on the year.
Olivia Simcoe has registered eight complete games for the Rams, which leads the A-10 and places her 26th amongst all Division I pitchers for complete games in 2026.
