Bronx, N.Y. – Closing their first homestand of the 2026 campaign Wednesday afternoon, Fordham University Softball hosts St. John's in a single game at 2:00 p.m. from Bahoshy Field on ESPN+.
Originally slated for a 3:00 p.m. start, the game will now begin one hour earlier, with Joe Henry and Brendan Shorey on the broadcast call.
Fordham (8-13, 2-4) took the middle game of a three-game series with Dayton on Saturday in a 15-7 five inning victory. St. John's (19-8, 1-2) are riding a four-game win streak with a pair of wins over Army and Harvard, after taking one of three games in the BIG EAST opener against UConn.
In 18 all-time meetings, Fordham holds an 11-7 lead over the Red Storm, winning the most recent meeting last season, a 4-1 win for the Rams in Queens.

Fordham as a team leads the Atlantic 10 with 10 double plays turned on the year, 70th in the nation, while averaging 0.48 double plays per game, 40th best in Division I.
Defensively the Rams are leading the league and sit 19th in the country with a .979 fielding percentage, committing just 12 errors on the year.
Olivia Simcoe has registered seven complete games for the Rams, which leads the A-10 and places her 25th amongst all Division I pitchers for complete games in 2026.
With 12 stolen bases on the year, Neleh Nogay is second in the A-10 and 51st in the nation, while ranked 30th nationally with 0.57 stolen bases per game.
Averaging less than one walk per seven innings, Holly Beeman leads the conference and sits ninth in the country allowing just three walks across 24.1 innings pitched this season. Olivia Simcoe sits fifth in the conference in that category, and Elizabeth Gaisior sits sixth in the A-10 as well.
