Bridgeport, Pa. – (September 23, 2025) – The MAWPC released its weekly awards on Tuesday with Fordham's
Diego Tresa (Rome, Italy) receiving Rookie of the Week honors for the second time this season.
Tresa helped the Rams to a 3-0 weekend to start MAWPC conference play. He totaled 11 goals and six steals in three matches, netting at least three goals in each match. He started the weekend by scoring a season-high five goals against Mercyhurst to go with a steal on Saturday. Tresa then had three goals and three steals at Bucknell on Sunday, while notching three goals, an assist, and two steals versus Mt. St. Mary's.
For the year, Tresa has 19 goals and 12 steals, which is third on the Rams in both categories.
Tresa and the rest of the Rams are at home at the Col. Francis B. Messmore Aquatic Center for the first time this season on Saturday, September 27
th, hosting Princeton at 10:30 AM and Wagner at 4:00 PM.
