Bronx, N.Y. – (November 24, 2025) – For the fifth consecutive season, the Fordham water polo team is in the National Collegiate Men's Water Polo Championship, as the 2025 Championship bracket was revealed on Monday afternoon.
The Rams (25-3) were seeded fourth in the bracket and will play San Jose State on Friday, December 5
th at 5:00 PM Eastern at Stanford's Avery Aquatic Center.
Fordham earned an automatic bid into the Championship, after defeating George Washington, 16-9, in the MAWPC Championship final on Sunday at Fordham's Col. Francis B. Messmore Aquatic Center. The Rams were one of six automatic bid teams along with USC, Princeton, San Jose State, UC Davis, and Concordia University-Irvine, while UCLA and Stanford received at-large berths.
USC is the top seed and will face Concordia in the opening round with UCLA as the second seed taking on Princeton. The final first-round match will feature Stanford against UC Davis.
