Women’s Soccer Takes on Manhattan This Weekend

Bronx, N.Y. – (August 29, 2025) – Off to a 2-1 start, the Fordham women's soccer team is back in the Bronx on Sunday morning for the "Battle of the Bronx" against the Manhattan Jaspers at Gaelic Park.  Game time is set for 11:00 AM.
 
LAST TIME OUT 

• The Rams finished their Colorado road trip at 1-1, after outlasting Northern Colorado by a score of 2-1
• Fordham rallied from a 1-0 deficit, getting goals from Ava Giudice and Liina Tervo to record the win
• Kyla King made a career-high nine saves in net for the Rams

 
SERIES HISTORY 

• This is the 31^st all-time meeting between Fordham and Manhattan with the Rams holding a 20-9-1 series edge
• Fordham won last year's match by a 2-1 score behind first half goals by Julia Acosta and Lena Johnsen
• The Rams have won eight consecutive matches against Manhattan, dating back to 2014
