Kyla King Named A-10 Defensive Player of the Week

Bronx, N.Y. – (August 25, 2025) –  The Atlantic 10 Conference released its women's soccer weekly awards on Monday afternoon with Fordham senior goalkeeper Kyla King earning Defensive Player of the Week honors.  It is King's first career weekly award.
 
In her season debut on Saturday, King was credited with a career-high nine saves in the Rams' 2-1 victory at Northern Colorado.  Her previous high was seven.
 
King and the rest of the Rams are back on the pitch on Sunday, August 31^st, for the "Battle of the Bronx" at Manhattan, beginning at 11:00 AM.
