PENNSAUKEN, N.J. – The Fordham rowing team closed out its spring season on Saturday at the Atlantic 10 Championship held on the Cooper River.

The Rams came in sixth out of nine teams at the event, with all eligible boats earning a spot in their respective grand finals. It marked the ninth straight year that Fordham finished inside the top six at the conference championship.

Anna Hinck was named to the All-Atlantic 10 First Team.

Fordham performed well in morning time trials, as the Varsity 4+ finished third in a time of 8:27.76 before the Second Varsity 8+ came in second in 7:07.71. Next up was the Varsity 8+, which crossed the line third in a time on 7:03.12.

Later in the morning, the Third Varsity 8+ narrowly missed making the medal stand, finishing fourth in a time of 8:09.51.

In the Varsity 4+ grand final, the Rams' shell finished sixth in a time of 8:58.08.

The Second Varsity 8+ was the first boat off the medal stand in its grand final, finishing fourth in a time of 7:03.44.

In the last race of the day, the Varsity 8+ grand final, the Rams finished sixth in a time of 7:01.16.
