ORLANDO, Fla. – The Fordham golf team registered its best round (+7) of the week on Thursday morning to finish 10
th at the Atlantic Championship held at the Evermore Resort's Grand Cypress Course.

Davidson (-10) played its final round in five under to claim the team title by one shot over Richmond. Dayton's Ben Cors (-11) played his final 11 holes in five under to run away with medalist honors, five shots clear of Richmond's Cole Ekert in second.

Fordham (+36) finished three shots behind St. Bonaventure in ninth for its best finish at the conference championship since 2022.

Senior
Chris Konefal and freshman
Patrick Ginnity finished in a tie for 33
rd at 11 over for the tournament. Konefal, who made a pair of eagles over the course of his first two rounds, shot a Thursday 79 while Ginnity closed out his first appearance at the A-10 Championship with a four-over 76.

AJ DePaolo (+12) carded his second straight 75 to finish in a share of 39
th. The sophomore started strong, playing his first 14 holes in one under par.

Jake Mrva (+13) recorded his best round of the week on Thursday, posting a one-over 73 to finish in a tie for 44
th. The Shrewsbury, Mass., native played his first 14 holes in three under.

Playing his second round of the week as a substitute, freshman
Liam Howard carded the Rams' best round of the day, a one-under 71. The Leesburg, Va., product was three under through 14 before his lone blemish of the day, a double bogey on the par-4 fifth.
