Lake Placid, N.Y. – The Fordham golf squad wrapped up play at the Columbia Autumn Invitational on Sunday at the Lake Placid Club with a 12
th place team finish while junior
Liam Howard was the top Ram finisher, tying for 27
th.

Howard improved over the three rounds of the invitational, capping it with a one-under 70 in the third round. He carded four birdies on Sunday, three coming on the back nine where he finished with a two-under 34. He birdied the tenth (444-yard, par 4), 13
th (571-yard, par 5) and the 17
th (289-yard, par 4).

Howard shot a 76 in the first round and a 73 in the second for a total score of 219, six over par.

Sophomore
Kieran Cummins was second among the Rams, tying for 47
th, shooting a three-round total of 224. His best round was the first round where he shot a two-over 73, with three of his seven birdies carded in the round.

Also scoring for Fordham were junior
Patrick Ginnity and sophomore
Jack St. Ledger. Ginnity was right behind Cummins with a 225, tying his for 51
st. His best round was also the first where he shot a 73, with an eagle on the 571-yard, par 5, 13
th hole. St. Ledger shot a 228, tying for 58
th. His best 18-hole score was in the third round when he carded three birdies to shoot a 74.

Also competing at the event for Fordham were senior
Luke Brower, who tied with St. Ledger with a 228, carding ten birdies over the invitational, and senior
Tucker Silva, who finished with a  249.

The Rams return to action on October 12 as they open play at the Metropolis Intercollegiate to be held at the Metropolis Country Club in White Plains, N.Y.
