WASHINGTON – Launching five home runs over four games last week, Fordham University Softball saw Sydney Wells take home co-player of the week honors from the Atlantic 10 Monday afternoon.

Wells brought home her second weekly award of the campaign, posting a .583 batting average with seven hits in 12 at-bats, with five of her seven hits leaving the yard. Four of her five homers came in a span of less than 24 hours, with a pair in games one and three at Dayton Friday and Saturday afternoon.

Driving in nine RBIs with five runs scored on the week across four games, Wells also drew a pair of walks, driving in nine of the Rams' 16 runs scored on the week.

Wells will be recognized as one of four seniors this weekend, as the Rams host UMass Saturday and Sunday in a three-game series that will also feature a senior day ceremony recognizing the Rams' four seniors between games one and two Saturday.
