ARMONK, N.Y. – Ongoing inclement weather in the New York Metropolitan Area has forced the cancelation of the final round of the Jasper Spring Collegiate hosted by Manhattan at The Summit Club.
 
The Rams finish just four shots behind first-place Iona in the 12-team field.  Fordham also a second squad at the local event, and those Rams finished in 7^th.  All nine Rams in action shot 77 or better on Friday morning in what turned out to be the lone round of the event.  Six Fordham players tied for 15^th or better while seven tied for at least 20^th in the 63-man field.
 
After carding a career-best 71(-1) to close the ABARTA Coca-Cola Collegiate Invitational on Monday, AJ DePaolo finished under par and set a new career-low for the second straight round.  The sophomore fired a two-under 69, one shot behind Iona's Sean Richards in tie for second.  DePaolo bogeyed two of his first four holes before logging six birdies over his final 14.   
 
Senior Jake Mrva also finished inside the top 10 after one round, after posting a level-par 71 to grab a share of eighth place, three shots off the lead.
 
Felix Luetke Meyring shot a one-over 72 to finish in a tie for 13^th, one shot ahead of teammates Bryan Ruland, Liam Howard and Tucker Silva in a share of 15^th after a trio of 73s. 
 
Fresh off a third-place finish in Pennsylvania this past weekend, Patrick Ginnity registered a three-over 74 to tie for 20^th.
 
Senior Chris Konefal (+5) finished in 34^th, one shot ahead of teammate Luke Brower (+6) in 41^st.
