Toth & Bonello DuPuis Receive MAWPC Weekly Accolades

Andras Toth Selected as Player of the Week for Third Time This Season, while Matthew Bonello DuPuis Named Defensive Player of the Week

Bridgeport, Pa. – (November 13, 2025) – The MAWPC released its weekly awards on Thurssday with Fordham's Andras Toth (Pecs, Hungary) being named the league's Player of the Week with Matthew Bonello DuPuis (Sliema, Malta) taking Defensive Player of the Week honors.

For this season, this is Toth's third weekly award and second for Bonello DuPuis.

Toth set the Rams' single season goal scoring record over the weekend after totaling 19 goals, 12 assists, and 14 steals in four games.  He now has 115 goals in 2025, breaking the previous mark of 114 by Jake Miller-Tolt in 2019, and also joined Miller-Tolt and Ned Kelly as the lone Rams to reach 100 goals in a single season.  He opened the weekend with six goals, six assists, and five steals in a win at Wagner, and then notched two goals and three steals versus Bucknell.  Toth added five goals, two assists and two steals against Mt. St. Mary's and finished the weekend with six goals, three assists, and four steals against Mercyhurst to break the goal scoring record.

In a 4-0 weekend for the Rams, Bonello DuPuis totaled 25 saves, four assists, and six steals.  After posting six saves and a steal in two quarters at Wagner, he recorded a season-high 12 saves versus Bucknell, allowing only two goals to go with two assists, two steals, and a penalty block.  Bonello DuPuis then had four saves in limited action against Mt. St. Mary's, while adding three saves in two quarters of work against Mercyhurst.

Toth, Bonello DuPuis, and the rest of the Rams wrap up regular season play on Saturday, November 15th, as Fordham hosts #19/20 Brown for Senior Day at the Col. Francis B. Messmore Aquatic Center.
