Bronx, N.Y. – As the 2024 Fordham football Rams wind down fall camp we conclude our position-by-position breakdown of the Rams with a look at specials teams.
Fordham returns one of its two starting kickers from 2023, bringing back senior punter
Will Haslett but the Rams will need to find a replacement for All-Patriot League placekicker
Brandon Peskin, who led the Patriot League and was 15
th in the NCAA FCS in field goal percentage.
Last fall Haslett, a Second Team All-Patriot League and Academic All-League selection, punted 40 times for 1,708 yards, an average of 42.7 yards/punt. He led Patriot League in punting average and landed 17 of his 40 punts inside the opponents 20. Haslett helped the Rams lead the Patriot League and rank 30
th in the NCAA in net punting.
Three players will battle for the placekicking job in 2024: sophomore
Mack Massad, a three-time All-District selection at Rocky River High School in Ohio who missed last year with an injury, and freshmen
Bennett Henderson, a 2023 Class 5A Football All-Section Team pick at Upper St. Clair High School in Pittsburgh, and
Dominic Sansone, a Third Team All-State performer at McQuid Jesuit High School in Rochester last year.
Back at long snapper will be junior
Walker Adkinson, a Preseason All-Patriot League pick. He'll be backed up by sophomore
Connor Roman, who saw limited action at linebacker last fall, and freshman
Lachlan McIntyre, who played at Archbishop Stepinac High School last year.
Season and individual game tickets for the 2024 home season are now on sale through the
