Tray Woodall Selected to Attend TopConnect 2024

Rams associate head coach receives prestigious honor for up-and-coming mentors

BRONX, N.Y.  – Entering his fourth season on staff at Fordham and his third as the team's associate head coach, Tray Woodall has been selected to attend the prestigious 2024 TopConnect Basketball Symposium in Las Vegas.

Taking place inside the Thomas & Mack Center at UNLV on June 10, TopConnect identifies the top assistant basketball coaches in the country and connects them with mid-major athletic directors, providing tremendous networking and leadership development opportunities for both parties.

In its seventh year, TopConnect develops educational programming that allows these top assistant coaches to hear from a variety of successful leaders and speakers.

Woodall, a former collegiate standout at the University of Pittsburgh, has been a key part of the Rams' revitalization since arriving on campus in 2021.  In his first season as an assistant coach in 2021-22, Woodall helped orchestrate a 14-win improvement, as the Rams finished 16-16 and advanced to the quarterfinals of the Atlantic 10 Tournament for the first time since 2007. Promoted to the role of associate head coach the following offseason, Woodall immediately guided the Rams to a 25-8 record, a program-best 12-6 effort in the Atlantic 10 and the second A-10 Tournament semifinal appearance in its history.  This past season, the Rams registered a number of notable wins, including a Quad One road win at St. Bonaventure, a victory over reigning NIT champ North Texas in Brooklyn and a triumph over eventual A-10 Champion Duquesne in front of a sold-out Rose Hill crowd on ESPN2.
