OLEAN, N.Y. – Coming off a pair of thrilling victories over Saint Joseph's at home this week, Fordham University Softball looks to stay hot as they head Upstate for a three-game set with St. Bonaventure this weekend. Fordham and the Bonnies will square off in a doubleheader Saturday at 12:00 p.m. followed by the series finale at noon on Sunday, with all games streaming live on ESPN+ and the ESPN App.

Led by a quartet of Rams hitting .298 or better entering the weekend, Fordham (21-21-1, 11-6 A-10) is coming off a midweek sweep of former A-10 leading Saint Joseph's on Wednesday that saw the Rams take game one 7-3, before a 6-5 walkoff win in game two.

Fordham enters the midweek red hot, winning 9 of its last 11 games, with eight of those victories coming within A-10 play.

Four Rams have recorded at least 30 hits this season, while eight players have notched at least 25. Fordham is one of the top teams in the nation hitting for extra bases, ranking 13th out of 296 Division I schools with 73 doubles this season, averaging 1.7 per game, the 17th best average in the nation, both leading the A-10 as well.

The Maroon and White also place second in the conference in slugging percentage at .421 as a team, and second in home runs per game averaging a home run just about every other game.

The Rams are 7-1 this season when scoring at least three runs, and hold an 18-5 record in games where the Rams score first.

Loving to strike early and not look back, Fordham is impressively 12-2 when leading after just two innings this season, and when leading after four innings, the Rams are 16-3.

Pacing the batting order with 42 hits, with exactly half of those for extra-bases, Bailey Enoch has scattered 12 doubles and six home runs along with a pair of triples, while coming around to score 33 times, also a team-high.

Sydney Wells has been the big bat in the Rams' lineup this season, leading the team with 11 home runs, which also leads the A-10, while also recording 13 doubles, totaling 39 hits and 21 runs scored. Her .712 slugging percentage also paced the A-10, as does her 85 total bases on the year.

Wells and Enoch also sit amongst the national leaders in a number of offensive categories, including total doubles, where they sit first and second respectively in the A-10 with 13 and 12 two-baggers in 2024, alongside Gianna Sarlo who has also tallied 13 this season. Enoch also sits second in the A-10 in total bases with 78.

In her fifth year on Rose Hill, Devon Miller continues to shine in the circle for the Rams, ranking second amongst all A-10 players with 11 complete games, while sitting third in strikeouts and hits allowed per seven innings. Miller has also picked up eight of her 10 wins this season in league action.

A threat to hit, walk, and steal bases, there's no avoiding the quickness of Neleh Nogay, who not only excels off the stat sheet with web gems across the outfield, but also sits second in the A-10 and 39th in the nation with 19 stolen bases in 21 tries. Nogay is also on fire at the dish in conference play, leading the Rams while hitting .474 in 17 A-10 games thus far, with 27 hits and 13 runs scored in those games, and going 14-15 on stolen base attempts.

Taking on the top team in the Atlantic 10 in a doubleheader Wednesday, Fordham swept a pair of games over Saint Joseph's at Bahoshy Field. Rallying in the first and final turns at the dish in game one the Rams would score four runs early on before tallying three more in the bottom of the sixth.

In all Fordham would scatter 13 hits in the opener, while forcing the Hawks, ranked second in the A-10 in fielding percentage, into three errors in the process. Game two would see the visitors break out to an early lead, with the Rams using a pair of homers to tie the game at four, before tallying two runs in the bottom of the seventh to take a 6-5 win in walk-off fashion.
