The Rams host a doubleheader at 12:00 Saturday followed by the series finale Sunday at noon

BRONX, N.Y. – Looking to claim their third straight A-10 series, Fordham University Softball hosts Dayton this weekend at Bahoshy Field. The series starts Saturday with a doubleheader at 12:00 p.m. before the series finale Sunday afternoon.

Top of the Order

  • Fordham (18-19-1, 8-4 A-10) will look to extend what is currently a six game winning streak, following an 8-1 win at Army on Wednesday.

  • Winners of their last two A-10 series, the Rams have won seven of their last eight games in league play.

  • The Rams have sat all season as the conference leaders in total doubles and doubles per game, ranking Top-15 in the nation in both categories, while sitting third best in the A-10 in walks drawn as a team.

  • The Rams are also second in the A-10 in home runs per game and in slugging percentage, while defensively ranking third best in the league in fielding percentage as well.

  • Three Rams are hitting .312 or better heading into Wednesday, led by Sydney Wells, Bailey Enoch, and Kate McGuire.

  • One of three players to start and play in every game this season, Enoch leads the team with 37 hits and 30 runs scored, with 20 extra-base hits, scattering 12 doubles, three triples, and five home runs.

  • Wells leads the team and the A-10 in RBI's with 42, while tallying 34 hits and 20 runs scored, with 11 doubles and a team best 10 home runs, while pacing the Rams in walks with 21, slashing .327/.721/.442 in 36 games played.

The Bronx Loves "2"

  • No we're not talking about Derek Jeter, but the fact that Fordham loves to take two bases, entering the weekend sitting 13th in the country in total doubles as a team and 15th in doubles per game, both leading the A-10.

  • Gianna Sarlo leads all conference players with 13 doubles on the year, sitting 26th best in Division I, and one of three Rams in the Top-75.

  • Enoch sits second in the conference in doubles per game and total doubles with 12, ahead of 11 from Sydney Wells.

What About Wells

  • Wells paces the conference with 42 RBIs which is good for 25th best amongst all Division I players, while her 1.17 RBIs per game are 24th best in the nation.

  • Leading the league with 10 home runs, she ranks 58th in the country in home runs and 65th in home runs per game, while sitting thirf in the A-10 and 75th in the country in total doubles with 11.

  • With 75 total bases, Wells leads the league in that category, while her .721 slugging percentage also ranks second best in the A-10 and 77th in the nation.

Enoch Eating

  • Another one of the top hitters in the Fordham order, Enoch sits second in the A-10 in total doubles and doubles per game, both amongst the top 100 players in the nation.

  • Enoch sits third best amongst all conference players with 70 total bases, just five back of the league lead, and places fourth in the league in triples per game.

  • In addition, Enoch also ranks sixth in the A-10 in slugging percentage at .593.

Devon Doin' Damage

  • Earning a pair of wins in each of the last two A-10 series, Miller enters the midweek allowing just 5.66 hits per seven innings, second best in the league, despite her 110.0 innings pitched being the second most in the A-10.

  • With 90 K's in 2024, Miller sits third best in the A-10 in total strikeouts, and 90th best in the nation.

Taking Bases

  • With 17 stolen bases on the year on 18 tries, Neleh Nogay sits third best in the league in stolen bases and stolen bases per game, both placing her amongst the top-60 players in the nation.

  • Enoch is a perfect 8-of-8 on stolen bases, while Mikayla Swan has nabbed four bases in five tries.

  • Wells leads the team in walks with 21, ahead of Enoch with 16 and both Carter and McGuire with 14 apiece.

Dueling with Dayton

  • At 18-16 overall, the Flyers are 8-4 and tied with the Rams for third place in the A-10 standings, looking to snap a three game losing streak, falling to Akron in a doubleheader on Wednesday.

  • Dayton won its last A-10 series, winning the first two games on the road at UMass last weekend, before falling in the series finale in extra innings.

  • Leading the league in Walks and stolen bases as a team, the Flyers are also ranked first in the A-10 and 88th in the nation in team ERA at 3.06 coming into the weekend.

What's On Deck

  • Fordham hosts its lone midweek series on the A-10 calendar this Wednesday, when Saint Joseph's heads up I-95 for a doubleheader at 2:00 p.m.
