LA JOLLA, Calif. – The Fordham golf team will begin its spring season this weekend at one of the game's most iconic venues, competing in the UC San Diego Invitational at Torrey Pines.
The Rams will play three rounds on the North Course of Torrey Pines, whose South Course has twice hosted the U.S. Open in 2008 and 2021. The North Course is the site of opening rounds of the PGA Tour's annual Torrey stop, the Farmers Insurance Open.
Fordham will play one round each day on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Sunday and Monday's action will begin at 4 p.m. ET while Tuesday will feature a 10 a.m. ET shotgun start. Live scoring will be available here.
For the Rams, Torrey Pines' North Course will play as a 7,258-yard part 72.
Fordham will be one of 18 teams participating in the event alongside Air Force, Bucknell, Denver, Idaho, Lehigh, North Dakota State, Oklahoma Christian, Seattle, Southern Utah, UC Irvine, UC Riverside, UC San Diego, UC Santa Barbara, UNLV, Utah State and Yale (two teams).
The UC San Diego Invitational will mark the Rams' second consecutive event at a famed course, as Fordham closed the fall season at Sebonack Golf Club in Southampton, N.Y.
