2024 FCS Football Central Freshman All-America Team
Bronx, N.Y. – Fordham freshman linebacker
Jaylen Dawson has been named a Freshman All-American by FCS Football Central it was announced this week. He is one of three Patriot League student-athletes honored by the organization, the lone position player.

• Appeared in eleven games as a freshman, starting seven
• Recorded 52 total tackles, 30 solo
• Included in the 53 tackles were 5.5 for loss and one sack
• Also had three pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery
• Named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week following the season opener at Bowling Green where he led the Rams with ten total tackles, five solo
