BRONX, N.Y. -Â The Fordham University Rams continue the 2024 season, Fordham's 124th varsity season, by hosting the Georgetown University Hoyas for a Patriot League contest at Moglia Stadium on Saturday, November 16, 1:00 p.m.

The game will be televised live on ESPN+ with Connell McShane (p-b-p) and Grant DelVecchio (analyst) announcing and broadcast live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and the
WFUV YouTube channel with Lou Orlando (p-b-p) and Evan Harkin (analyst) handling the announcing chores.

Fordham enters the game with a 1-9 overall, 1-4 in the Patriot League, after a 28-27 Patriot League loss at Bucknell last Saturday, while Georgetown enters the contest with a 5-4 overall record, 2-2 in the Patriot League, after a 43-6 League loss to Lehigh in Washington, D.C., on November 2.

Saturday's game will be the 70th meeting between Fordham and Georgetown on the gridiron. The Rams lead the all-time series, which started in 1889, 42-24-3. The Hoyas took last year's meeting, 28-24, in Washington, D.C., scoring on a four-yard pass with 56 seconds left.

A few notes on the game:

• The 42 wins for the Rams are the most over any opponent in school history while the 69 varsity meetings with the Hoyas are also the most against any opponent for the Rams.

• The Fordham Rams have thrown the second most touchdown passes of any NCAA FCS school over the past three years.

• The Rams threw a school-record 58 scoring strikes in 2022 (56 of those from Tim DeMorat who set a school and Patriot League record), had 26 from quarterback
CJ Montes last year, and have seven this year for a total of 91.

• Fordham senior linebacker
James Conway has 425 total tackles, tying
Ryan Greenhagen's Fordham career record.

• Conway needs seven tackles to tie the Patriot League mark.

• Conway was named a finalist for the FedEx Doris Robinson Award, an award that honors an FCS student-athlete who exemplifies excellence on the field, in the classroom and across the community.

• Fordham senior running back
Julius Loughridge, who has rushed for more than 100 yards four times this year, including in each of the past two games, has 3,003 career rushing yards, fifth on the Fordham all-time rushing list.

• Loughridge also has 26 career rushing touchdowns, tied for sixth all-time for the Rams.

• Grad student defensive back
Nahil Perkins is tied for second in the NCAA FCS in passes defended, averaging 1.8/game.

• Perkins is also tied for third in the nation in interceptions, picking off five passes in 2024.

• Senior defensive lineman
Matt Jaworski leads the Patriot League and is tied for tenth in the nation in tackles for loss/game (1.5).

• Jaworski has 41.5 career TFLs, tied for third all-time at Fordham, and 19.5 career sacks, sixth all-time at Fordham.

• Freshman kicker
Bennett Henderson has converted his last six field goal attempts, three of those for more than 40 yards, and has now made good on eight of his ten three-point attempts this year.

• Two former Fordham football Rams are currently on NFL rosters. Running back
Chase Edmonds, who was drafted in the fourth round by the Arizona Cardinals in the 2018 draft, is a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but will miss the 2024 season due to injury while offensive lineman
Nick Zakelj, who was selected in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL draft by the San Francisco and enters his third year with the 49ers.
