Saratoga Springs, N.Y. – The Fordham rowing squad closed out the 2022-2023 season with a fifth place showing at the 2023 Atlantic 10 Championship held at Fish Creek.
 
George Washington won the team title with 52 points, followed by Rhode Island (49), UMass (36), Saint Joseph's (30), and Fordham (28). The Rams were two points ahead of sixth place La Salle.
 
The top scoring boat for the Rams was the Second Varsity 8 which placed third while the Varsity 8 won the petite final.
 
The day started with the Varsity 4 heats where the Fordham entry placed third in 8:26.208, five seconds behind the winning George Washington shell, but good enough to qualify for the finals where the Rams placed fifth (9:32.202).

Next up was the Second Varsity 8 heats with the Rams taking second in the heat in 7:24.276, behind Rhode Island, to advance to the finals where Fordham took third.

The Varsity 8 heats were next with Fordham taking fourth in its heat (7:10.769), just short of qualifying for the finals. The Rams came back in the petite final, winning the race in 8:08.010, ahead of Duquesne and George Mason.

There was also a Second Varsity 4 and Third Varsity 8 race with Fordham placing second in the Second Varsity 4 in 9:36.358, just behind Duquesne. The Fordham Third Varsity 8 entry did not finish.
