Geneva, Ohio – (February 16, 2023) – Competition at the 2023 Atlantic 10 Swimming & Diving Championship continued on Thursday night, where the Fordham women's team moved up into third place in the team standings.
George Washington leads in the team scoring with 287 points, followed by Richmond at 192 points. Fordham has 155 for third, just ahead of Duquesne (150) and George Mason (149) to round out the top five.
The night of finals began with the 500 freestyle event, where Fordham's
Clare Culver earned Second Team All-Atlantic 10 honors, clocking in with a school record time of 4:47.25. She broke the previous mark of 4:50.05, set in 2011 by Megan McGorry.

Next was the 200 individual medley, where the Rams had three in the finals.
Alison Lin started the scoring by finishing 14
th overall as a part of the "B" final in 2:04.11. Then,
Ainhoa Martin and
Leire Martin scored fourth and fifth, respectively, in the "A" final in 2:00.41 and 2:00.95.
Megan Morris was then in the 50 freestyle "A" final, where she placed sixth overall in a season-best time of 23.21 seconds.
The evening of women's events finished with the 200 freestyle relay, where
Jessica Zebrowski, Lin,
Zoei Howard, and Morris were eighth in the event with a season-best time of 1:34.01.
Day three of the championship begins at 10:00 AM on Friday with preliminaries races with the finals starting around 6:00 PM.
