BRONX, N.Y. – The Fordham Athletic Department officially announced on Monday the creation of The Rose Hill Exchange, an online portal that will help to connect local business and Fordham student-athletes in search of Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) opportunities.
Â
The Rose Hill Exchange was created with the help of Teamworks, the parent company of INFLCR, with whom the Rams entered into a department-wide partnership earlier this year.Â
Â
"Since NIL's adoption, Fordham has been committed to helping our student-athletes maximize their potential for NIL opportunities," said Director of Athletics Ed Kull. "With our unique location in New York City, The Rose Hill Exchange is a great step forward in our efforts, as local businesses, donors, alumni, and fans who want to connect with Fordham and our outstanding student-athletes for NIL opportunities can now do so in one central location. We are thrilled to give our Rams another resource in the NIL space."
Â
"The Rose Hill Exchange is a significant milestone for Fordham student-athletes," said INFLCR General Manager Sean Kelly. "We are excited to see the NIL opportunities they will have within the Exchange and to play a small part in fostering these connections."
Â
The creation of The Rose Hill Exchange was announced in conjunction with the unveiling of the University's new NIL policy, which can be
found here.
Â
The Rose Hill Exchange is the latest in a long line of efforts undertaken by the athletic department to help its 500-plus student-athletes navigate the uncharted waters of NIL.Â
Â
Last year, the department entered into a contract with OneTeam Partners, a firm that specializes in group licensing. With OneTeam, student-athletes can sell personalized merchandise making full use of Fordham logos and markings through Fanatics, one of the most recognizable names in athletic apparel.
Â
Fordham Athletics is also getting set to begin a four-part educational series that will seek to provide student-athletes with the knowledge they need to succeed in an ever-changing NIL landscape. The presentations, which will be orchestrated under the guidance of experts in their respective fields, will focus on social media practices, personal branding, financial literacy and entrepreneurship.Â
Â
Student-athletes or businesses with questions regarding Fordham's NIL policy should contact the Athletics Compliance Office, led by Senior Associate Athletic Director for Compliance and Governance Michael Sainte at
athleticscompliance@fordham.edu.Â
