FCS | The Analyst Release | Patriot League Release

BRONX, N.Y. – After leading the Rams to a 38-35 Patriot League win over Lehigh on Saturday with a last second field goal, Fordham senior kicker Brandon Peskin (Melville, N.Y. / Half Hollows Hills East) was named FedEx Ground FCS National Special Teams Player of the Week for Week 6 college football games ending Saturday. He was also named the Patriot League Special Teams Player of the Week.

Against Lehigh on Saturday, Peskin made good on all three of his field goal attempts, including the game-winning from 45 yards as time expired to lead the Rams to the win. The 45-yard field goal was a career long for Peskin.

Peskin's other field goals came from 27 yards with two seconds left in the first half to cut the Fordham deficit to 21-17 at the half, and from 42 yards with 1:54 remaining to knot the game at 35.

On the year, Peskin is 9-for-10 in field goals. The nine field goals ties him for the ninth most in a single season for a Ram.

Peskin was also a perfect 3-for-3 in PATs on Saturday and now has converted 96 PATs in his Fordham career, third all-time for the Rams.

The Rams return to action on Saturday, October 14, as they travel out to Long Island to face the Stony Brook University Seawolves at LaValle Stadium at 3:30 p.m.
