Khalid Moore (Elmont, N.Y./Molloy/Georgia Tech) has been named the Atlantic 10 Men's Basketball Co-Player of the week for games played January 23-January 29 it was announced by the conference office today. It is the first weekly award of 2022-2023 for Moore who shares the honor with Saint Joseph's Lynn Greer III.

In two games on the week, Moore averaged 24.5 ppg and 6.0 rpg, shooting .762 (16-21) from the field and .800 (4-5) from behind the arc. He capped the week scoring a career-high 30 points, shooting 10-for-14 from the field and 3-for-4 from behind the arc, while also grabbing eight rebounds and blocking a pair of shots in Fordham's 85-70 Atlantic 10 win over George Washington in a sold out Rose Hill Gym on Saturday.

Moore opened the week with a team-high 19 points to go with four rebounds in a 79-68 conference win at St. Bonaventure as the Rams snapped an eleven-game losing streak to the Bonnies.

On the year, Moore is averaging 15.0 ppg, second on the team, and he leads the Rams with 6.6 rpg. He is is shooting .495 (107-216) from the field and ranks 13th in the conference in scoring and 16th in field goal percentage.

The Rams (17-4, 5-3), who have already surpassed their win total from last year, return to action on Tuesday, January 31, as they host the Saint Louis University Billikens in an Atlantic 10 contest in the historic Rose Hill Gym at 7:00 p.m.
