Akira Jacobs and
Rikus Schulte were honored for their achievements on the hardwood and in the classroom, earning CSC Academic All-District Honors from the College Sports Communicators (CSC).

Jacobs, an Individualized Study major, was one of two Rams to appear in all 32 games in 2025-26, starting 30. He averaged 7.2 ppg and 4.8 rpg and was second on the team in three-pointers made (44) and third in rebounding. Jacobs recorded his first career double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds at VCU (2/28/26).

Schulte, a Business major, is the other Ram to appear in all 32 games last year, starting all 32 games. He averaged 10.7 ppg and 9.1 rpg, leading the team in rebounding and blocks (18), and was second in steals (48), and third in scoring. Schulte, who recorded nine double-doubles, was second in the Atlantic 10 in rebounding and offensive rebounding (3.6), and third in defensive rebounding (5.5). He shot .563 (143-254) from the field, seventh in the Atlantic 10.

To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District honors for men's basketball, a student-athlete needs a 3.50 cumulative GPA or better and must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played or must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games.

Jacobs and Schulte are two of the five returning players for the Rams in 2026-27, joining
Roor Akhuar,
Abass Bodija, and
Jack Whitbourn.
