Ryan Greenhagen was named to the 2022 Buck Buchanan Watch List it was announced today. He is one of 35 players named to the list, one of three from the Patriot League.

The Buck Buchanan Award is presented annually by Stats Perform to the national defensive player of the year in college football's Division I championship subdivision.

He is the second Ram to be named to a preseason watch list, joining senior quarterback
Tim DeMorat who was named to the Walter Payton Award, presented to the national FCS offensive player of the year, list on Wednesday.

nters 2022 season first among active FCS players with 10.03 tackles/game and third with 1.32 tackles for loss per game through 31 career games.
• Started the first five games in 2021 before suffering a season-ending injury.
• Recorded 102 total tackles, 46 solo, including 5.5 for loss and 3.0 sacks.
• Also had two pass breakup sand one interception.
• Was leading the NCAA in tackles/game when injured.
• Broke NCAA record with 31 total tackles at Nebraska.
• Made 28 tackles, eleven solo, including one for loss, the following week versus Monmouth.
• Recorded 17 stops, five solo, including 2.0 for loss, in win at Stony Brook.
• Also had 17 tackles at FAU.
