Bronx, N.Y. – Fordham grad student linebacker
James Conway was named First Team All-Patriot League it was announced by the League today.

Conway became the second football student-athlete in Patriot League history to earn All-League honors five times, joining Lafayette's Malik Hamm.

This year Conway recorded 159 tackles as he leads the NCAA Division I in tackles/game (13.3). Included in his 159 stops are six for loss and three sacks. He also had an interception and three pass breakups.

The 159 tackles is a new Fordham single season record, breaking the old mark of 145 set by Mark Blazejewski in 1991.

Conway broke the FCS and NCAA DI career tackles records this season, finishing his career with 595 total tackles.
