Bronx, N.Y. – (May 27, 2022) – The Fordham women's soccer team has released its schedule for the 2022 fall season which features 17 regular season contests along with two exhibition contests.
 
Under first-year head coach Magnus Nilerud, the schedule is broken down into seven non-conference matches and ten conference matches.
 
The regular season begins on Thursday, August 18^th, as the Rams begin the year at Stony Brook for a 6:00 PM start.  It is the first of three consecutive road matches to open the 2022 season, as Fordham will also play at Wagner on August 21^st and Dartmouth on August 26^th.
 
Fordham then comes home to Jack Coffey Field for its home opener on September 1^st, when the Rams host Hofstra for a 7:00 PM start.
 
The Rams will also have non-league matches at Yale (Sept. 4), Quinnipiac (Sept. 7), and Columbia (Oct. 5).
 
Action in the Atlantic 10 Conference will begin on September 15^th, when the Rams head to St. Bonaventure for the first of five road conference matches.  Fordham will travel to George Mason (Sept. 25), Saint Joseph's (Sept. 29), Davidson (Oct. 13), and Massachusetts (Oct. 23) as well.
 
Fordham's home league contests begin on September 18^th with a matinee against George Washington.  The Rams will also welcome Rhode Island (Oct. 2), La Salle (Oct. 9), VCU (Oct. 16), and Dayton (Oct. 20) to Jack Coffey Field.
 
On top of the regular season schedule, Fordham will have two preseason exhibitions against St. John's (away) on August 9^th and Sacred Heart (home) on August 13^th.
 
The 2022 schedule will lead to the Atlantic 10 Championship with opening round contests, starting on October 29^th with the championship final on November 6^th.
