Grad student linebacker to play in all-star classic

Bronx, N.Y. – Fordham grad student linebacker can add another line to his impressive resume as he has been selected to play in the 2023 Hula Bowl scheduled for January 14 at the UCF FBC Mortgage Stadium in Florida.
 
The 77th annual Hula Bowl will include NCAA college football players from all divisions, along with international players from Japan, Canada, Australia, and the UK. In addition, the game will always include Polynesian players with historic ties to the Islands.

• A Walter Campbell Trophy finalist.
• Named to the 2022 Reese's Senior Bowl Watch List
• Named to the 2022 Buck Buchanan Award Watch List
• A 2022 Stats Perform First Team Preseason All-American
• 2022 Patriot League Football Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
• 2022 First Team All-Patriot League
• Second on team with 103 total tackles, a team-high 57 solo.
• Has 7.0 TFLs along with 4.5 sacks.
• Third in Patriot League and 24th in the NCA AFCS, in tackles/game (9.4).
• A four-time All-Patriot League selection and 2020-21 Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year.
• A four-time Academic All-Patriot League selection.
• A two-time CoSIDA Academic All-American®.
• Set school career records for total tackles (425), solo tackles (247) and career tackles for loss (48.0).
• Set an NCAA Division I record with 31 total tackles at Nebraska.
