Bronx, N.Y. – The Fordham University Hall of Fame ceremony with take on a theme of Johns as Barbara and John Costantino, GABELLI '67, LAW '70, Loretta and John Lumelleau, FCRH '74, and Thalia and John Zizzo, FCRH '69, will be honored with the Victory Bell Award at the ceremony under the Homecoming tent on Edwards Parade on October 7.
 
The three were all very active in the recent football office challenge, helping to raise funds for the new Fordham football offices. They will be joined by Associate Academic Advisor, Sister Anne Walsh, RHSM, in receiving the honor.
 
The Victory Bell Award honors individuals who have brought distinction and honor to Fordham University Athletics through achievements not related to competition, coaching and/or administration. The honoree, selected by the Fordham Athletics Hall of Fame Committee, embodies a sense of leadership and passion for Fordham Athletics and serves as an inspiration to the Fordham Athletics Family.
 
Costantino, a member of the first Fordham club football team in 1964 and a Fordham Board of Trustee emeriti , was honored with the Walsh Family Award at the 2016 Fordham Gridiron Dinner for his commitment to the football program.
 
Lumelleau, a four-year member of the football squad and current member of the Fordham Board of Trustees, was a member of the first varsity football team at Fordham after the sport was elevated from club status in 1970. He received the Walsh Award at the 2015 Fordham Gridiron Club Dinner for his contributions to the program.
 
Zizzo, a 1969 Fordham College graduate and captain of the 1968 club football team, received the Walsh Family Award at the Fordham Gridiron Club Dinner in 2011 for his dedication to the football program. He is a current member of the Fordham Board of Trustees and a Trustee Fellow.
