Patriot League Release
 
Bronx, N.Y. – The Patriot League released the 2021 preseason All-League team and Fordham swept the major awards with senior quarterback Tim DeMorat and senior linebacker Ryan Greenhagen receiving Preseason Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year, respectively.
 
In team predictions, the Rams were picked to finish second behind two-time defending champions Holy Cross. The Crusaders (3-1, 2-0 PL) received 71 points and 11 first-place votes while Fordham (2-1 PL), who placed a League-high 10 student-athletes on the preseason All-League squad, including both of the major award winners, were picked second in the preseason poll with 63 points and three first-place votes.
 
Joining DeMorat in receiving preseason accolades from the Fordham offense are Dequece Carter (Jr., WR), Zach Davis (Sr., RB), Fotis Kokosioulis (Sr., WR), Phil Saleh (Sr., OL), Trey Sneed (Sr., RB) and Nick Zakelj (Sr., OL) while Greenhagen was named preseason all-conference from the defense along with Jonathan Coste (Sr., DL), and Stephen Williams II (Jr., DB).

• Led Patriot League and was 13th in the NCAA FCS in passing efficiency (148.5).
• Led League and was sixth in the NCAA FCS in total offense (360.3 yards/game).
