Bronx, N.Y. – The Fordham volleyball team (5-2, 5-1 A-10) will look to start a new win streak on Wednesday against Rhode Island (4-7, 3-3), who the Rams will play twice this week to close out the regular season. The Bronx Rams will play host first on March 24 at 4 p.m. before heading to Kingston on Sunday, March 28, at 4 p.m.

Wednesday will double as Senior Day with
McKenna Lahr being honored during a pregame warm-up Zoom, presented by Michaelangelos, for parents and fans. The show will begin at 3 p.m. and will feature an interview with head coach
Ian Choi.

Whitley Moody Earns Third Straight A-10 Rookie of the Week Honor

Series History vs. Rhode Island
Rhody leads the all-time series with the Rams, 32-11, since 1995. The (other) Rams dominated the first half of the rivalry, with Fordham not winning a single set until 1998 seven matches in. Fordham won seven matches between 2004 and 2012, and the most recent two meetings, both sweeps, in 2019 and last week. Â

Series History vs. La Salle
Fordham owns a 40-12 all-time advantage over the Explorers since 1984. The Rams did not drop a match between 1998 and 2014 but in recent years, La Salle has won six of the past 10 contests, including the five-set thriller on Saturday, a day after being swept by the Rams. Â

Isabel Fichtel Named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week
Earlier this season, Fichtel set the program's four-set record for blocks in a loss to St. John's, tallying 12 total, one solo, finishing just one block shy of tying the overall single-match record. She earned her first piece of A-10 hardware as a result.
