Isabel Fichtel has been named this week's Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week, the league office announced on Monday afternoon.

Ian Choi said, "Izzy is always hyper-focused and consistently brings an enthusiastic competitive energy to our team. I'm happy for Izzy, they deserve it."
Fichtel set the program four-set record against the Johnnies, racking up 12 blocks, one solo, finishing just one shy of the overall single-match record. Her 12 blocks were part of the team's 20.0 total blocks, which was just 2.0 away from setting a new benchmark. Fichtel also chipped in four kills.
The Rams' two scheduled contests this past weekend at La Salle were postponed, but they will return to action in nonconference play on Saturday at Hofstra. First serve is set for 4:30 p.m. in Hempstead.
