Ed Kull announced today that head football coach
Joe Conlin has signed a multi-year contract extension through the 2024 season.

Ed Kull. "He has taken on many challenges and a tough out-of-conference schedule and now we are on our longest winning streak since 2015. We look forward to advancing the Fordham Football tradition of excellence with Joe at the helm."

Conlin, who is in his fourth year as the Rams head coach, has Fordham riding a six-game winning streak into a key match up on Saturday when Holy Cross comes to Jack Coffey Field for the annual Ram-Crusader Cup game at 1:00 p.m. Both teams enter the game with perfect 4-0 Patriot League mark.

In the 2021 spring season, the Rams went 2-1 with quarterback
Tim DeMorat and linebacker
Ryan Greenhagen earning Patriot League Offense and Defensive Players of the Year, respectively.

The Fordham offense was tops in the Patriot League and 17th in the NCAA FCS in scoring in the spring, averaging 31.7 points/game. The 2020-2021 Fordham offense also led the League and was 14th in the NCAA FCS in total offense (433.3 yards/game) and led the League and was sixth in the NCAA FCS in passing offense (349.7 yards/game).
