Tim DeMorat was named GEICO Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week when the League office announced honors on Monday.

In a 66-21 Patriot League win over Bucknell on Jack Coffey Field on Saturday, DeMorat, the Patriot League preseason offensive player of the year, completed 26 of 36 passes for 318 yards and six touchdowns in just over 30 minutes (he only played the first two possessions of the second half). He tied the school record for touchdown passes in a game, set by Kevin Eakin against Rhode Island in 2003 and matched by Nebrich against Penn in 2014. It was his fourth 300-yard passing game of the year and his third four+-touchdown contest.

On the year, DeMorat, who earned weekly honors for the fourth time this fall, completed 147 of 247 passes for 1,967yards and 21 touchdowns. He leads the Patriot League, and is fourth in the NCAA FCS, in touchdown passes and leads the League and is 16th in the NCAA in passing yards/game (281.0).
