FCS Football Central All-America Team
Bronx, N.Y. – Fordham grad student linebacker
James Conway (Omaha, Neb./Millard West) was named a First Team All-American by Stat Perform, Pro Football & Sports Network (PFSN), and FCS Football Central it was announced today. He is the lone Patriot League student-athlete named to the first team for all three outlets.
The awards come a little over two weeks ahead of the Stats Perform FCS National Awards Show where Conway is one of three players invited for the Buck Buchanan Award ceremony, presented to the NCAA FCS National Defensive Player of the Year.

• Set NCAA Division I career tackles record with 595 (broke former FCS record of and the FBS record of 577 set by Troy's Carlton Martial)

• 2025 FedEx Doris Robinson Award nominee.
• 2025 Preseason All-American.
• Recorded 159 tackles in 2025, breaking the Fordham school record of 145 set by Mark Blazejewski in 1991.
• Leads the NCAA Division I in tackles/game (13.3).
• 2025 First Team All-Patriot League.
• 2025 Patriot League Football Student-Athlete of the Year.
• One of only two players in Patriot League history to earn All-League honors five times.
• Three-time CSC Academic All-District selection.
