With the 2020 fall sports season canceled by the COVID-19 outbreak, we at Fordham have decided to dig back through our archives and provide our fans with content on some of the outstanding teams and student-athletes who have graced Rose Hill over the years.

October 16, 1999 – (Bronx, N.Y.) – The ball was flying all over Jack Coffey Field today as Fordham and Harvard combined for over 600 passing yards with two Rams setting school records in the process. Unfortunately, the Rams second half comeback fell short as the Crimson defeated Fordham, 37-30, on Jack Coffey Field.
 
Fordham quarterback Matt Georgia, who was making his first start for the Rams, completed 36 of 64 passes for 382 yards and three touchdowns. He set school records for most completions and pass attempts in a game, surpassing Gary Brennan's record of 30 completions and 51 attempts against Hofstra in 1991.
 
Georgia's favorite receiver on the day was Kendal Creer, who hauled in a school record 14 passes for 171 yards and one score.
 
Fordham trailed 34-3 at the half but scored 27 second half points in the attempted comeback.
