BRONX, N.Y. -  The Fordham University Rams continue the 2025 season, Fordham's 125th varsity season, and continue Patriot League play by traveling to Easton, Pa., to face the Lafayette College Leopards at Fisher Stadium on Saturday, October 4, at 12:30 p.m.
 
The game will be streamed live on ESPN+ with Gary Laubach (p-b-p), Mike Joseph (analyst), and Meghan Caffrey (sideline) announcing and broadcast live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and the WFUV YouTube channel with Chris Carrino (p-b-p) and Tucker Austin (analyst) handling the announcing chores.
 
Fordham enters the game with an 1-4 record, 1-1 in the Patriot League, and is coming off a 26-21 Patriot League win over Holy Cross in the Bronx last Saturday while Lafayette enters with a 3-2 overall record, 1-0 in the Patriot League, following a 38-28 loss to Princeton at Fisher Stadium last Saturday.
 
Saturday's game will be the 43rd meeting between Fordham and Lafayette on the gridiron. The Leopards lead the all-time series, which started in 1903, 27-14-1, and the two teams have split the past four meetings. Lafayette won last year's matchup, 28-23, at Moglia Stadium on October 5 as Dean DeNobile completed 13 of 18 passes for 124 yards and three touchdowns.
 
A few notes on the game:
 
• Fordham grad student linebacker James Conway, the Stats Perform NCAA FCS National Defensive Player of the Week, has 511 total tackles, a new Fordham and Patriot League career record.
 
• He is just one of five NCAA FCS players to amass more than 500 career tackles since 2000.
 
• The 511 career stops for Conway are the most for an active NCAA Division I student-athlete.
 
• Conway was named a 2025 First Team Stats Perform All-American as well as being named preseason All-Patriot League.
 
• Freshman running back Yohan-Li Louis was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week on Monday after rushing ten times on Saturday for 61 yards and catching three passes for 25 yards.
 
• Fordham grad student punter Will Haslett was named to the Preseason Watch List for the 2025 FCS Punter of the Year Award, which honors the nation's top collegiate punter in the Football Championship Series (FCS).
 
• In three-plus years, Haslett has punted 171 times, seventh on the all-time list, for 7,370 yards, also seventh on the Rams' career list.
 
• Sophomore kicker Bennett Henderson converted his last eight field goal attempts of 2024, three of those for more than 40 yards, and he connected on his lone three-pointer in the opener at Boston College.
 
• Bennett is four-for-five this year in field goals this year.
 
• Fordham will be represented by five captains in 2025: senior tight end Jaden Allen, grad student linebacker James Conway, senior defensive back Alex Kemper, senior offensive linemen Duke Leonard, and senior defensive lineman Claudy Robinson.
