New Haven, Conn. – The Fordham golf team completed play at the 2019 Macdonald Cup on Sunday afternoon at The Course at Yale.
P.J. O'Rourke led the Rams with a T17 finish at 6-over par for the weekend. Minnesota took home both team and individual honors.
P.J. O'Rourke kept up his solid play from the first two rounds with a 74 in round three, finishing with a 6-over 218 and T17 place on the leaderboard.
Nicholas Manning matched his round one total of 75 in round three, finishing the weekend at 224 and in a tie for 37
th.
Edoardo Tamburi bounced back from a tough second round with a 78 on Sunday, finishing T64 with a three-round score of 238, one ahead of
Mithran Denbow, who ended play at T67 with a 239 score.
Dean Cerimido was behind them by one stroke at 240 and in solo 70
th.
Manning led the way for the Rams with three birdies on the day, while Tamburi and O'Rourke had two apiece and Denbow recorded one.
The Rams have two weeks off before the Lehigh Invitational at Saucon Valley Country Club on October 18-19.
