Hanover, N.H. – The Fordham golf team finished play at the Dartmouth Invitational on Sunday at Hanover Country Club, a 6,472-yard par 71 course. The Rams finished 12
th out of 12 schools with a 30-over par 598 with identical 299 scores each day. Drexel took home team honors, winning by five strokes with a 557. Bucknell's Chris Tanabe won individual honors at 9-under.
Freshman Nicholas Manning enjoyed his best weekend to-date with even-par 142, finishing in a tie for 16
th. Manning was 1-over on Saturday but ended Sunday in the red by a stroke. Fellow freshman Chan Park carded an even-par 71 on Saturday but fell back to T41 with a 5-over 76 in round two, ending with a 147.
Anthony Wells ended play in solo 68
th with a 155 followed by Peter O'Rourke, who was T70 at 157, and
Mithran Denbow, who was solo 72
nd with a 160. The former was making his collegiate debut, while the latter was making his season debut. Competing as individuals, Edoardo Tamburi's 150 was good for T53, while
Dante Lancellotti finished 73
rd with a 163.
Fordham is back in action next Saturday and Sunday at the MacDonald Invitational, hosted by Yale.
