Round One Results
 
Orlando, Fla. – The Fordham golf team began play at the three-round Atlantic 10 Championships on Friday at the Grand Cypress Golf Club, carding a combined 332 (+44) on the par-72 course. Davidson currently leads the way at 9-over 297, just ahead of VCU and Saint Joseph's at 298. The Wildcats' Jack Lang paces 55 golfers with a 4-under 68, the lone round below 70 and one of two under par.
 
Junior Tomas Nieves led the way for the Rams with a 6-over 78 to finish the day in a tie for 29^th. Billy Harrison is solo 50^th after day one with an 84, followed by both Josh Madarang and Tommy Hayes in a tie for 51^st with 85's. Anthony Wells carded a 92 on the day.
 
Fordham will begin day two alongside Richmond, with Wells teeing off at 7:30 a.m. to start the round.
