Princeton Junction, N.J. – The Fordham rowing squad competed in the 1969 Cup last weekend on Lake Mercer where the second varsity 8 won the petite final and the varsity 8 placed sixth in the grand final.
 
Varsity 8
• Comprised of Alex Levy (cox); Brikena Prendaj, Erin Stepka, Caitlin Boyle, Aleksa Bjornson, Emily Buchholz, Erika Selakowski, Danae Ohresser-Joumard, Stephanie Daley
• Placed second in heat in 7:13.96, behind Drexel but ahead of Saint Joseph's, Delaware and Colgate to advance to grand final
• Took sixth in the grand final in 7:29.29
 
Second Varsity 8
• Comprised of Olivia Herman (cox); Emma Lipinski, Lila Evans, Hanna Decker, Anna Grace Cole, Lizzie Kerrigan, Anya Casey, Danielle Moynihan, Alex Tuminello
• Placed fifth in heat in a time of 7:34.53, just missing advancing to the grand final
• Rebounded to win the petite final in open water in 7:41.42, ahead of Saint Joseph's and Colgate
 
Third Varsity 8
• Comprised of Claudia Keech (cox); Debra Chieco, Kylie Elwood, Lauren Yu, Lidya Ozcelik, Samantha Santiago, Estephanie Peralta, Grace Little, Catie Perlick
• Placed fourth in heat in 8:07.14
• In finals, took fourth in 7:47.56, well ahead of Saint Joseph's and Marist
 
Varsity 4
• Comprised of Stefania Rocca (cox); Gabriella Guglielmi, Elizabeth Berejka, Erin McGreevey, Paige McCallum
• Placed second in the heat in 8:34.02, ahead of Villanova and Colgate
• Also took second in the final in 8:00.29, just behind Bucknell but in front of Villanova and Marist
 
Freshman 8
• Comprised of Sophia Zehler (cox); Hannah Mason, Catherine Samia, Fiona Eves, Abigail Butler, Margarita McCoy, Taylor Bell, Molly Murray, Cara Gosselin
• Won heat in 8:33.89, ahead of Saint Joseph's, Villanova and UConn B, to advance to grand final
• Placed sixth in the grand final in 8:29.55 after suffering a mishap
