Bethlehem, Pa. – The Fordham golf team completed round one of two at the Lehigh University Invitational at Saucon Valley Country Club after two weeks off. The Rams finished 13
th out of 14 schools on Friday with freshman
Nicholas Manning leading the way with a 5-over 77. Rider currently leads with a 10-over par 298, while Holy Cross' Harrison Thayer has a two stroke lead over Rider's Austin Devereux with 3-under 69.
Manning sits in a tie for 16
th with his 77 and led the squad with a pair of birdies on the day. Following him was
P.J. O'Rourke at T37 with a 79 and
Edoardo Tamburi at T46 with an 80, the other Ram to record a birdie on the day. Rounding out the action for the Rams were
Chan Park, carding an 86 to sit T70, and
Anthony Wells, with an 89 and in a tie for 74
th.
Wells will get things started for Fordham at 10:20 a.m. on the 10
th hole.
