Day One Results
Quechee, VT – The Fordham University golf team opened play at the Quechee Club Collegiate Challenge at the Quechee Club on Saturday, where the Rams currently sit in a tie for 12
th after round one.
Senior
Josh Madarang once again led the way for the Rams, firing an opening round 76 putting him in a tie for 21
st place. Sophomore
Mithran Denbow and freshman
Aidan Denning were right behind Madarang, firing rounds of 77 to put them in a tie for 30
th place. Also competing for the Rams were
Thomas Hayes, who shot an 80 and is tied for 56
th place and
Anthony Wells who shot 81, good for a tie for 60
th. Sophomore
Dean Cerimido competed as an individual, shooting an opening round 87 to finish 73
rd.
Cornell is in first place in the team standings with a score of 297 in round one, followed by Brown (300), Harvard (300), Princeton (300), Drexel (301), Bucknell (302), Holy Cross (303), Hartford (304), Dartmouth (307), Bryant (308), Siena (308) and Fordham (310).
The tournament will conclude with 18 holes on Sunday.
