West Orange, N.J. – The Fordham golf team began their final event of the fall season on Sunday at the Metropolitan Intercollegiate Invitational, hosted by Wagner at Montclair Golf Club, where the Rams sit in a tie for 11^th place after round one.

Sophomore Anthony Wells led the way for the Rams on day one, firing an opening round 74 to sit in a tie for 16^th place. Senior Josh Madarang finished one shot behind Wells with an opening round 75, good for a tie for 26^th place. Also competing were Thomas Hayes who shot an 80, tying him for 64^th, Dean Cerimido shot an 82, tying him for 76^th and Mithran Denbow who shot an 84 on day one putting him in 86^th place.

Round two will be a shotgun start beginning at 10 a.m. on Monday.
