Newport News, Va. – (October 21, 2018) – Following the conclusion of the women's soccer regular season on Sunday, the Atlantic 10 Conference announced the seeding and quarterfinal match-ups for the 2018 Women's Soccer Championship.   Among those seeds, the Fordham Rams earned the #6 seed, posting a 6-3-1 mark in the Atlantic 10 this season.
 
The berth in the championship is the third in the last four seasons for the Rams under head coach Jessica Clinton.  The quarterfinals take place on October 27-28 at the campus sites of the top four seeds.  The semifinals and final will be held at Dayton's Baujan Field, November 2-4.
 
The Rams will see a familiar foe in the quarterfinals, as they meet the #3 seed Saint Joseph's Hawks in Philadelphia on Saturday, October 27^th at 7:00 PM.  The Hawks and Rams met just three days ago at Jack Coffey Field on October 18^th, where Saint Joseph's posted a 1-0 overtime win.

Overall, this is Fordham's ninth appearance in the Atlantic 10 Championship.
