Bethlehem, Pa – The Fordham golf team returned to the links at the Lehigh Invitational, held at Saucon Valley Country Club, this weekend where
Josh Madarang picked up his second top-five finish of the season.
Madarang led the way for the Rams firing rounds of 72-75 for a total of 147, good for a tie for second place.
Anthony Wells had an impressive day two, shooting a 78 to go with an 84 on day one for a two-day total of 162, tying him for 58
th. Also in action were
Thomas Hayes who shot 82-81-163 to finish in 61
st place,
Mithran Denbow recorded rounds of 84-83-167 to finish 66
th and
Billy Harrison carded rounds of 85-84-169 to finish 67
th.
Monmouth won the team title with a total score of 605, followed by Monmouth (607), Navy (609), Navy (609), Bucknell (610), Siena (611), Lehigh (612), Colgate (613), Fairfield (616), Holy Cross (617), St. John's (618), Lafayette (621), Hofstra (625) and Fordham (639).
The Rams return to action October 28-29 at the Metropolitan Intercollegiate Championship, hosted by Wagner, at Montclair Golf Club in West Orange, N.J.
