On Sunday, it will the 19th all-time meeting for the Rams and Minutewomen, with Massachusetts holding a 13-5 record over Fordham.  However, the two teams have not played each other since 2013, when Maria Lorena Canicatti scored in the second overtime session to pull out a 3-2 win for Fordham.

LAST TIME OUT: Hartford's Sierra Stone and Kaila Lozada each scored once, while Maia Perez made five saves in goal, as the Hawks topped the Fordham Rams, 2-1, in women's soccer action at Jack Coffey Field on Sunday.

Kaila Lozada was fouled in the box, awarding a penalty kick to the Hawks.  Lozada stepped to the penalty spot and converted to the left side for her second goal of the year.

The Hawks then made it 2-0 in the 69th minute, as Sierra Stone and Julia Carr pulled off a give-and-go with Stone finishing to the upper right corner for her third marker of the year.

The Rams pulled within one in the 85th minute, when Carlie Wagner made a nice move into the box and was tripped up, assessing a foul to Hartford and a penalty kick to Fordham.  Brooke Salmon stepped to the spot, and drilled the ball into the right center of the net for her first goal of the year.

Fordham continued to put the pressure on to find the equalizer, getting shots from Clara Gastaldi in the 88th minute and Salmon in the 89th minute, but goalkeeper Maia Perez made the stop on both attempts, giving Hartford the 2-1 win.

In net, Perez made five saves in the win, while Kelly LaMorte had two saves in the first half for Fordham, while Colleen Hickey finished with four in the second half.
